Definition of “dead to self rule” This is the concept of; -Dead to the right to rule yourself -You side with God against yourself ; He has the right to rule you. -an abandonment to your rights -completed relinquishing to the right to govern your life and allowing Christ to completely rule you. -deny yourself is to disown yourself. -no vassal kingdoms-no ruling your own life under a Christian flag. -complete surrender of all things that are dear to you-starting with yourself. -not just a surrender but a complete abandonment of yourself to Christ. -not a puppet on a string concept but a willing laying down of your all to Christ, past, present, and future. -This death happens in one monumental cathartic process of repentance and forsaking of all sin and self rule -this dispositions now becomes a way of life -to remain dead to yourself and alive in Christ- -not a struggling to achieve death by a slow choking cutting off of all. Or a slow yielding of one sin or one thing after another until death happens (although American Christianity has presented this slow optional yielding program as Christianity-it is not). But some can get to total death to self rule this way but the danger is if you die physically during this time you will end up in Hell. -after death to self has occurred and you have found that sin has no more dominion over you, you will gladly obey the Lord in any and all things - living up to the light you have-which you are thirsty for. -not until Christ is satisfied that you have forsaken yourself rule will he be able to pardon you and wash you, so he has a clean temple to enter and abide in. -a complete exposing of yourself-all its rebellions, stubbornness and sins- to Christ himself in His divine presence (the Holy spirit will help you and convince you and convict you of your rebellious self rule.
-Cease and desist control of yourself to God. -no warring against Him concerning your life. -a complete laying down of arms or weapons -capitulation, -no justifying your sins and desires, no excuses -relinquish yourself to the Master -renunciation of self to The Lord -no more at your own disposal
